What Good Bathroom Remodeling Involves
Bathrooms fail quietly. A shower that was waterproofed badly will look perfect for two years and then rot the framing behind it. That is why our bathroom remodeling work is judged on what happens before the tile, not after.
Waterproofing Is Structure, Not Decoration
Shower pans, membranes, sloped substrates and correctly lapped corners are installed and inspected before tile begins. It is the least visible and most important part of the job.
Curbless Showers
A step-free shower needs the floor structure recessed and the drain positioned during framing. It cannot be added convincingly later.
Ventilation
An exhaust fan ducted to the outside and sized for the room protects paint, grout and framing from years of steam.

Do I need a permit?
If plumbing, electrical or framing changes, yes. Replacing finishes in place may not. We confirm and file whatever is needed.
Can you move the shower or toilet?
Yes, though relocating drains means opening the floor and, in some homes, working below. We price that clearly before starting.
What stops a shower leaking?
A correctly installed waterproofing system, proper slope to the drain and movement joints in the tile. We install and check these before any tile goes on.
Can we use another bathroom during the work?
Where the home has one, yes. If it is the only bathroom, we plan the sequence to minimise the days it is out of service.
