Do I need permits for interior remodeling?
Finishes alone usually do not require permits. Electrical changes, new openings or structural work do, and we file them.
Can you do the whole house at once?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper per room. We can also phase the work by zone if you are living there throughout.
Should flooring run through every room?
Through the main living areas, yes. Bathrooms and laundry rooms can sensibly use a different material.
Can you remove popcorn ceilings?
Yes. Older ceilings should be tested first, and we handle the process with proper containment.
How long does interior remodeling take?
It depends on the size of the house and the scope. Flooring and paint need curing time, which we build into the schedule.
Should every room use the same flooring?
Running one floor through the main living areas makes a house feel larger and calmer, and it removes awkward transition strips. Bedrooms and bathrooms are the usual exceptions, where comfort and water resistance matter more than continuity.
How do you keep an interior scheme from dating quickly?
We keep the expensive, permanent elements restrained and let paint, textiles and lighting carry the personality, because those are the pieces you can change cheaply in ten years.
